Girls of Elune

Well hello everyone. First off, yes the site is PINK. If you have to ask why then you don’t know me. Now then, I know the previous post says goodbye. Like every good athlete and most hard core WoW players I know, I decided to come out of retirement, with a twist. Ok, let me explain.

When Jazzy and I started this site we though it would be fun to share our adventures and some interesting perspectives on things pertaining to WoW. In the beginning we did that. As you probably noticed though, over time it was mainly Jazzy that was posting and not me. Why? One word…laziness. I get side tracked to easily on other things and tend to let things slide. So Jazzy was mainly the one having to come up with content to keep us going. Obviously this was not fair to her, as much as we all love her sense of humor, so we decided to take the blog down. Then the next thing happened.

I started thinking (yes a dangerous idea) that I really do have opinions on things, they’re just not based on theorycrafting (sorry Baelor) or raid strategies or the details of the game. For whatever reason I tend to focus on the people behind the characters. I find it really interesting to see how people interact, make friends, get mad, go emo, and other things all over a game. Heck I know I’m guilty of it. I’ve been playing MMO’s for more years than I can count at this point and I can’t count the number of times I’ve gotten a huge surge of emotion of something or someone then thought later “wow it’s a game…”. All this leads me to my next point…

I’m going to personally keep the blog going. I’m going to share something different though. Personal experiences and the human aspect of the game. That means I’ll relate interesting situations where people go off, tell you stories of others that I’ve gotten to know and generally gossip about everything! Much more fun. I’ll probably get in trouble, but hey, it’s only a game!

So I invite you to keep visiting and listen to some of my stories. I’ll also be asking for your stories as well as advice and opinions on things I write. Keep in mind though that unless your opinion is the same as mine, it’s wrong. Heh, you didn’t actually think I was going to be wrong on here did you?

Well sadly this is the day that we take down our blog. As you’ve probably noticed, it hasn’t gotten a lot of attention from us. With the new patch and the expansion on the way (not to mention the million other things we do) we just haven’t had enough time to keep it going in the fashion we would like. Consequently we think that if we can’t do something to our standards then it shouldn’t be done. There’s a lot of great blogs out there and while we had hoped to become one of them, we just simply don’t have the time at this point.

So, thanks to those who commented and dropped . Thanks to those who read some of our stuff. Thanks to everyone we know that has dropped by. We’ll be around Azeroth. Look us up sometime.
